Façade Renovation and Building Conversion from a Cinema to a Casino

This derelict city-centre building required complete renovation. The works included extensive façade work and complete fit-out including the conversion of part of the downstairs to a high street coffee pod and adjacent retail unit.

The project involved upgrading and renovating the old Lee Cinema building at the upper levels, changing it to a private members club, internal fit-out of the ground floor amusement arcade and a new façade at street level with an integrated retail unit.

The work completed to the façade involved minimum intervention to the existing structure, stone cleaning, repairing and painting. The façade work also included upgrade and repair of the windows over looking the high street.

The façade renovations were to the ground floor and the existing façade to the upper levels, which is noted in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage.
